Muffy of Jhazingha-Khaliph
Muffy is one of the four Founding Members and one of the Five Original Members of Jhazingha-Khaliph. Muffy attended Neptune High School with Lon and Ce-Line and then came to Asbury Park High School in the 10th grade. Muffy graduated from Asbury Park and went to Brookdale Community College afterwards. She has an extensive background in retail and has crossed over into the world of politics.
Muffy has been the longest active female member of Jhazingha-Khaliph and appears on every album from Demo Mode to 'The Kerim Klah Recordings' and later returned to appear on 'Blind Spot', 'Transitioning Thru The Nuances of Jhazingha-Khaliph' and 'My Blood is Chlorophyll'. Muffy was pregnant with her son Zach when the band first begun. Muffy also recorded a solo album called 'Blind Spot'.
In 2018 Muffy was selected to be a speaker on Ted Talks (video above). Muffy is also actively involved as the President of Al Sharpton's National Action Network Asbury Park Chapter, the Head of Policy of Board of Education, served on the Personnel Committee and the Curriculum for Board of Education and Curriculum and Finance, served on Asbury Park Affordable Housing Coalition and is the Head Chair of NAACP Education Charity. Muffy is also the Founder and Executive Director of Proper Foundation.
